Street of Dreams, U2's anthemic new single, just premiered minutes ago around the world. The official music video incorporated U2's live audience in Mexico City as part of a mini "documentary" of U2's film shoot on that rainy day back on May 12. Despite inclement weather, the band shot the video atop a modified school bus designed by graffiti artist Chavis Mármol near the Plaza Santo Domingo. The following day, the band filmed inside the Salón Los Angeles dance hall. The video was directed by Pasqual Gutiérrez and Raúl "RJ" Sanchez (CLIQUA) of Somesuch. U2 also attended the Street Child World Cup Finals Tournament at Parque Ecológico Lago de Texcoco.
No album release date has been set, nor has there been a title announced. Presumably, the band will release their 16th studio album sometime this Autumn and go on a world tour in the Spring of 2027. U2 will celebrate their 50th anniversary of being together as a band in September. No other live band has stayed intact for this long with its original lineup.
