Remarks:
U2's second show in Auckland contained the same setlist except for the inclusion of "You're the Best Thing About Me" (instead of "Every Breaking Wave"). Also, U2 performed a snippet of New Zealander Neil Finn's "Fall at Your Feet" (from Crowded House) after "Bad". Between "In God's Country" and "Trip Through Your Wires", Bono talked about his memories of The Edge and Larry as teenagers when they played in a country band in Ireland called the Drifting Cowboys. When asked about what they had learned from their experiences, The Edge took the mic from Bono and stated that he learned "there is no money in rock n' roll" and wondered what sort of a life he might have had if he'd pursued the country band instead. Introverted Larry on the other hand said he learned the foxtrot, and soon thereafter played a foxtrot rhythm for the audience. Spotted in the crowd was New Zealand's prime minister, Jacinda Ardern (she appears in the sequence of the "luminous icons" displayed during Ultra Violet, as does the first woman to be elected prime minister of New Zealand, Helen Clark).
