Remarks:
U2's second show in Sydney featured a similar setlist once again, but this time U2 performed "Desire" instead of "Angel of Harlem" (before the 2nd set), and "You're the Best Thing About Me" in place of "Every Breaking Wave" towards the end of the show. At the beginning of "You're the Best Thing About Me", The Edge had tuning issues with his guitar so Bono shared some personal stories about his father Bob Hewson, and that he regretted not telling his father he loved him more. With more kind words towards the Australian firefighters, Bono sang a portion of the Australian bush ballad "Waltzing Matilda" after "Bad" (last performed in Sydney in 1998 and before that 20 years ago to the day that Michael Hutchence died - November 23, 1997). Bono gave a shout-out to Richard Lowenstein, the director of "Mystify", a film about Michael Hutchence, the INXS frontman. Rob Hirst, the drummer of Midnight Oil also got a shout-out from Bono tonight.
