Remarks:
U2 continued their 2019 Joshua Tree Tour in Australia and stopped in Perth for the first time since December 19, 2010. It was only U2's 9th visit to the city and 3rd time in over 20 years. It was also U2's 6th and final concert in Australia before they move on to Singapore for the next show. Australian's firefighters were once again honored when Bono sung a bit of David Bowie's "Heroes" after "Bad". U2's famous producer Steve Lillywhite was in attendance and got a shout-out from Bono. U2 thanked the fans of Australia with Bono stating to the crowd: "Thank you, Perth for your patience... the only thing we can do to make up for the last 10 years is make tonight the best show we've ever played in this city. And it's what's going on inside you that makes a great show. What a magnificent country you live in. What beauty, Australia. What a wonder you are."
