Remarks:
U2 kicked off the 3rd leg of the tour in Detroit, Michigan at Ford Field. It was the first time U2 started any leg of a tour in the state of Michigan and the first time since 1985 since U2 performed in the city of Detroit itself (the last time U2 performed in Michigan was in Auburn Hills in October 2005). U2, sans Bono, rehearsed their forthcoming single, "You're the Best Thing About Me", during soundcheck, but did not perform the song at the show. The encore did not include "Miss Sarajevo" but instead started with "Beautiful Day", right after Patti Smith joined the band onstage for "Mothers of the Disappeared". Fans were encouraged to donate $10 to a Hurricane Harvey relief fund prior to "One" as the video screen projected images of the Texas state flag, the Red Cross logo and the U.S. flag.
