Remarks:
U2 played tonight in Buffalo for the first time in almost 12 years (and it was also the first stadium show in the state of New York since August 18, 1992 in Saratoga Springs). U2 hit the stage at around 9:30pm after a later start than usual. Bono referenced John Lennon tonight as U2's first show in Buffalo occurred the night Lennon was shot and killed in NYC (on December 8, 1980). Bono excerpted "Give Peace a Chance" during "Bad" and also performed a portion of The Beatles' "Come Together" and "Helter Skelter". Bono invited a young woman named Sil onstage to dance to "Mysterious Ways" as it was her birthday as well. Finally, a rare snippet of "Drowning Man" was also performed after "One" to end the concert (the last time that any part of this song was performed was in July of 2009).
