Tonight, U2 stopped in Kansas City to play at Arrowhead Stadium, the first performance of theirs at that stadium since 1997's Popmart Tour. The last U2 concert to occur in Kansas City took place 16 years ago when the band played at Kemper Arena in November of 2001. The setlist was identical to the one in Indianapolis from two nights ago (aside from "Vertigo" being performed after "You're the Best Thing About Me" instead tonight). The Kansas City Royals were mentioned during "Beautiful Day" with nearby Kauffman Stadium directly next door to Arrowhead Stadium.
