Remarks:
Tonight's show in the city of Indianapolis was the first in over 16 years (U2 last performed there in May of 2001 on their Elevation Tour and last performed in the state of Indiana in October of 2001). Back in 1987 when U2 performed here on their original Joshua Tree Tour, the band members created alter egos of themselves called the "Dalton Brothers". They played a couple of songs (Lucille, Lost Highway) before their main set in front of an audience who didn't initially recognize them as the real members of U2. Tonight, Bono asked a U2 fan in the audience: "Were you changed by the experience of the Dalton Brothers? We were!" Bono wished the Daltons a happy anniversary during "Trip Through Your Wires" and laughed. Also, at tonight's show, U2 debuted the premiere of their brand new single "You're the Best Thing About Me", after having performed it a few nights earlier on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. After "One", a lengthy snippet of "Drowning Man" was sung by Bono.
