Remarks:
The final concert on U2's first leg of the Experience + Innocence tour takes place tonight in the tiny village of Uncasville, CT (with a population of just under 20,000 people). The state hasn't hosted a U2 concert since 2005's Vertigo tour when the band performed in Hartford. Aside from the usual setlist arrangement, "Gloria" was performed as the 5th (rotating) song. Later in the show, Bono mentioned the song "Please" while introducing "Staring at the Sun" and stating how important the song meant to him. Bono didn't even remember writing the song "Please" but the Edge quickly came to the rescue by mentioning he wrote the chords. In a strange twist, Bono sprained his ankle while leaving the stage as the band finished their final song "13 (There Is a Light)".
