Remarks:
U2 return to perform a 3rd show at Madison Square Garden and its their 30th overall performance at this legendary venue in 33 years. Many different snippets are performed tonight including Vanilla Ice's "Ice Ice Baby" in reference to the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), and the immigration problems happening along the U.S. southern border. A plethora of special guests are in attendance including musician Patti Smith whom Bono gives a shout-out to during "Beautiful Day". Over 150 UN ambassadors are at the show including former President of Ireland Mary Robinson. Other famous people in attendance included: Bruce Springsteen, Michael Stipe, Salman Rushdie, Christy Turlington, Heidi Klum, Adam Scott, Kyle MacLachlan, Edward Burns, Logic, Scott Aukerman, and U2's album artist Steve Averill (whom the entire concert was dedicated to).
