Remarks:
Tonight, U2 were back in the nation of Canada for a show at Toronto's Rogers Centre. Big dedications to recently departed Leonard Cohen were given by Bono for "Bad" and "One Tree Hill". Bono included lyrics from Cohen's song "Suzanne" after "Bad" and even spoke of spending time with the Montreal native on his 79th birthday many years ago. Bono sung a bit of "O Canada", the national anthem of Canada, and also stated: "Canada is a baby compared to our ancient isle Ireland, but an old soul compared to its adolescent neighbor, the US". The band ended the show with "I Will Follow", performed for the first time since June 3, 2017 in Chicago.
