U2 hit Spain for the first of 4 shows and fans in Barcelona welcome the band back for the first time since 2009 on the U2 360 tour. "Sweetest Thing" is performed for only the 3rd time on the tour. This is also the first time since 1989 that "October" has been performed live in the month of October. Fans report "Spanish Eyes" being soundchecked prior to the show. Spotted at the concert is music superstar Shakira as well as former U2 manager Paul McGuinness.
