Remarks:
On the second night in Chicago, reports say that U2 rehearsed "The Crystal Ballroom" twice in soundcheck, but the song did not make its way onto the setlist at the concert. "Out of Control", "Volcano" and "Bad" return to the setlist. Paul McGuinness, U2's former manager, is in attendance for his second straight U2 concert and Bono dedicates "One" to him, letting the audience do most of the singing. With Bono's lingering bronchitis, he sometimes speaks during songs instead of sings and even hums the tune to 2001: A Space Odyssey's main theme of Richard Strauss's "Also Sprach Zarathustra" prior to "Every Breaking Wave". Finally, two U2 fans who bought a VIP package apparently are engaged on stage prior to the show.
