July 27, 1980 - Co. Kildare, Ireland - Leixlip Castle

Setlist:

Another Day, 11 O’Clock Tick Tock, Shadows And Tall Trees, A Day Without Me, Twilight. (incomplete setlist)

Remarks:

This event, the 1980 Dublin Festival, featured a lineup including John Olwan, Moondogs, Skafish, Q-Tips, Squeeze, U2 and The Police. It is notable to mention that U2’s set featured the last known performances of Shadows And Tall Trees (the only Boy song never to be performed on the Boy Tour) and Another Day.

Fan Review:

By Mark

My first U2 show and I’m not sure I remember a thing about it except that Stuart Copeland (the Police) got injured by something thrown from the crowd during their set. I think I remember Bono scaling the scaffolding at the side of the stage as he used to do. I remember the ticket price, IR6.50 - I’ve still got the stub somewhere.. those were the days…
