Remarks:

U2 perform the tenth of forty shows at the Sphere at The Venetian Resort in Las Vegas. Attendance is 18,600; a sellout. Tickets range from $140 to $500 (for presale ticket prices) but many sell at resale prices of $400 to $1,450. The opening music act is Pauli "The PSM" Lovejoy, who is the official Atomic MC / DJ host of the UV Dance Party opening each U2:UV Achtung Baby Live at Sphere concert.

Introducing "All I Want Is You", Bono says: "Yeah, it gets harder to believe in love in this world. Harder and harder to believe in love in this world. All we got is each other! That sounds vomiting you see, and corny, except it's really true. Our band's holdin' onto you this evening. You're holding onto us. This might be the moment where we get married in the Elvis cathedral."

After the song is over, band introductions are given by Bono: "Can I just say I am in a band with Adam Clayton. We are in a band with Adam Clayton. And if I might say, after all this period of time how mesmerizing you and your bass are, and what you do with it. And...it's okay, take a compliment! I mean really, his bass parts, they never get old. Nor do you sir. I go to shows and sometimes I don't notice the bass player but at a U2 show we notice the bass player. Lord Adam Charles Clayton! Now let me turn to our musical director, and can I say how difficult it is to explain what exactly you do! Sort of everything, I mean apart from everything. You're a very hard man to explain. You're kind of extraordinary, a genius, and in a town full of magicians, you're more than alchemist. Turning our shite into gold. Turning your guitar into an orchestra even when you're just scratching away. You're like Leonard Bernstein AND Yo-Yo Ma. You are of course: The Edge! Now, ladies and gentlemen, he's too tall, he's too good looking, he has both the confidence and the humility to sit on Larry Mullen Jr's drum stool. His name is Bram van den Berg! Oh, have you something to say?" Bram takes the mic and says: "Well, being here night after night with these three lovely gentlemen, meant that I had to take a break from my own band, Krezip. Actually they flew in today probably to check if this was all true. But I really want to thank them very much for their support... And thank you all for your support!"

Bono gives a shout out to Kylie Minogue who is in attendance tonight, and sings an excerpt of "Can't Get You Out of My Head". While performing "Desire" with The Edge, Bono also snippets a few lines from "Supermassive Black Hole" by Muse.
