Remarks:

The first of two Belfast concerts featured the return of U2 to their native country of Ireland. "Gloria" was gloriously featured in the 4th song slot with 2 snippets of other versions of "Gloria" (by Van Morrison and Patti Smith). Bono at one point in the show spoke about Irish solidarity amongst its citizens: "Whatever happens, whether there's a hard or soft or no border at all, more than ever, we need to trust each other on this small island in the North Atlantic Ocean. We must be smart, strategic and work together."
