U2's first of two shows in Cologne showcased a healthy Bono, 3 days after he lost his voice in Berlin on stage. Bono confirmed his voice was back to 100% after he said (as MacPhisto): "I see my old friend Boh-no lost his voice in Berlin. Bravo! Bravo! I think he is his very best vocalist with the sound turned down." Later, just prior to the band's performance of "You're the Best Thing About Me", Bono also said: "Hey darling, I really miss you; especially with what happened earlier in Berlin. The show is going really well tonight, voice is strong..."
