Remarks:
U2 stopped in Nashville, TN tonight, their 3rd show ever in the city (they previously performed there in 2011 and 1981). An interesting snippet of the Kings of Leon's "Sex on Fire" was performed after "Vertigo" (their drummer Nathan Followill was spotted at the show). Later, Bono spoke about "Staring at the Sun" saying: "It's a song I actually can't remember writing, and I'm not sure what it's about, but it's a playful little ditty and I think it has something to do with willful blindness, the kind of thing that can destroy a home or even a country." In attendance tonight was singer Emmylou Harris, former VP Al Gore, politician Bill Frist, talk show host Oprah Winfrey, producer T-Bone Burnett, and actress Ashley Judd.
