Remarks:
U2's second ever concert in the state of Nebraska and first since 2005 occurred on a rainy evening tonight at CenturyLink Center in Omaha. Clocking in at 24 songs, its also the shortest setlist on the tour thus far. In singing "Beautiful Day's 'Right in front of you...'", Bono gives a shout out to Susan Buffett, who is on the Board of Directors for the ONE Campaign. In continuing his tradition of doing band introductions, prior to "Desire" Bono stated: Larry "is the company of thunder" and Adam "is a stylish and suave earthquake" while the Edge has been "an intensity of white light so bright that Kim Jong-Un thinks of him as a WMD ... a weapon of mass devotion, The Edge!"
