Remarks:

U2 stopped in Amsterdam for the first of two shows, with tonight's concert kicking off later than usual, around 9pm. Balloons were released by fans as the band started performing "Beautiful Day". In the audience, Bono thanked their long time photographer Anton Corbijn as well as Norman Hewson, Bono's older brother, for introducing him to David Bowie's "Hunky Dory" and teaching him how to play guitar.
