"Even Better Than The Real Thing" kicks off the show and is the first performance of this song in nearly 10 years (dating back to June of 2001). Later on, The Edge sings Happy Birthday for a friend of his who is in attendance. Bono dedicates "Mothers Of The Disappeared" to Gustavo Cerati, an Argentinian rock singer who is still in a coma and recovering from a stroke he suffered in 2010. During the song, the Madres de la Plaza de Mayo join U2 on stage for this instrumental version of the song.
