U2 arrive early in the morning in İstanbul (around 2am) and discover a crowd of fans and journalists awaiting their arrival at the Atatürk International Airport. Bono and The Edge decide to play "Desire" in a short, impromptu performance before departing for their hotel. The lyrics were also adapted to: "...I'm on the street, gonna go where Europe and Asia meet..."
