Remarks:

Midnight Oil’s Peter Garrett is at the show, and Bono sings a bit of ‘Beds Are Burning’ in his honor. Technical problems plague The Edge during Beautiful Day and continue into Angel Of Harlem, but the crew fixes things during an acoustic version of The First Time. Tim Moriarty makes his final guest appearance playing the didgeridoo during Kite. Bad seems like an unplanned addition to the show. At the end, Adam and The Edge both say goodbye to Australia, but The Edge exclaims: “Thank you Sydney!” As some fans boo his mistake, The Edge quickly corrects himself, giving thanks to fans in Sydney, Brisbane, and Melbourne.
