Remarks:
Bono ad-libs quite a bit during the show, and does his best to speak Spanish to the fans in Madrid on several occasions. 'One' includes the 'Hear us coming' coda, and Bono leads the crowd in singing an 'Ole" chant at the end of the song, which the crowd continues through the encore break. 'Spanish Eyes' was reportedly on the band's original setlist in Yahweh's position, but it was not performed.
I've been reading for a long time that the latest u2 concert was the best in the world! etc. etc. Well, I have something to say: I supose that is the firs time for that people that see U2 live. I went to the u2 concert at Madrid and it was a great show but... It was the third time I see U2 live and I think they are loosing strenght with the pass of the time. My firs time was in 1993 in Zooropa and those years were the best time for U2. The best shows, the best albums, the best u2. My second time was in 1996 in Popmart and the show was incredible and the music not as well as 3 years ago but the played very very well. And this last concert was great but i'm tired of listening always the same 'classics': 'streets', 'pride', 'new years day' And the most important thing is that they are tired too of playing those 'classics' but they continue doing it. Why? Because U2 is a band of stadiums and they have to play those song to become a 'sold out band' I don´t like it altought I like U2. I think they have a lot of great songs, not only those 'classics' Other thing is that they are getting older and the energy of u2 15 years ago is not the same of today. Well...
