Fan Review:
By Chris Alexis
Having already known the pop show by seeing them in L.A., I wasn’t expecting much from this one.
But some things really made it worth seeing again like the Edge singing Sunday Bloody Sunday acoustic and seeing Bono put on a great show despite the number of people at the Superdome that night. I wonder if on the shows where there’s less people they feel less pumped than the sold out ones. Nonetheless, they put on a great one.
The only major problem (and I’ve been hearing this very often) was that Bono’s voice couldn’t be heard very well for most of the show. At least not from the right side of the floor and his words weren’t very legible. I expected a well-better than average quality for his vocals judging from the magnitude of this tour but I guess they can’t please everyone.
Good music, great show, make sure you see them if you haven’t yet.
