Remarks:

Bono phoned Speedy Pizza and ordered 10,000 pizzas for fans. An hour later 100 pizzas arrived and the three delivery guys were each given a $50 tip. This show goes down in U2 folklore as the “pizzas for everybody” concert.

Fan Review:

By William S. Jones

A fantastic slice of U2’s pepperoni pizza to start the encores! I actually ate three slices before I passed many boxes overhead to waiting hands behind me! They were calling out “Pass them back! Pass them back!” I had Propaganda tickets that were fifth row, off to stage right, near the B-stage cat walk. I almost missed the start of the show because I was travelling with a friend from Chicago and we forgot about the time zone change! A wonderful introduction to the Fly and Macphisto.
