They also did "Hands that Built America" during the Bullet Blue Sky/When Johnny Comes Marching Home piece.

I am a long-time U2 fan, 15-20 years, but a first time concert goer. How can that be? Well, you could blame my poor financial state years ago, and now you can blame my slow action on "tickets go on sale days"...but regardless, I have now seen U2 in concert, and what a performance it was.
Bono was serenaded with birthday wishes, while a capacity crowd at Chicago's United Center was rocked for nearly 2 1/2 hours by the Irish powerhouse.
The band was filming for a DVD of the Vertigo tour and did not forget that fact for a moment.
Great renditions of Party Girl, Bullet the Blue Sky, All Because of You...and one I hear they haven't been doing on tour Original of the Species. They even did an encore of Vertigo.
Edge's guitar, keyboard and unbelievably clear vocals were awesome. Adam Clayton looked as though he was having the time of his life, and Larry Mullen never missed a beat --(don't miss Bono on tom-tom). What a show. To Tribune Critic Greg Kot - you've been tainted.
U2 still rules.

A good show, but not a great one. During the encores, it was obvious that Bono was changing the songs. Why play Vertigo twice? Was there a technical glitch during the recording of the first? With their catalog of awesome songs, there is NO WAY U2 should repeat any song.
