The Joshua Tree

Last year was my first time visiting Las Vegas, and on my journey, I came across this breathtaking valley of Joshua Trees, and yes, it just so happens to be my favorite type of tree, and U2 also chose it be to the name of their fifth studio album, the one in fact that caught, or should I say, grabbed my attention to them, and is also one of my favorites. It appears as though I will have to travel that way again to see U2 in concert. I was hoping they would appear closer to where I live, but I would, if I had to, go to the ends of the earth to see these guys perform. I know I'm going to shock many of you readers when I admit that I've never seen U2 in concert, but this go around, 360 degrees,to be exact, I'm not going to miss, so it looks like Las Vegas, here I come.

I look so forward to seeing these great humanitarians in person, The Edge, with his down to earth personality, and Adam, with his thoughtfulness, as I received such a wonderful Christmas greeting from him, and yet another, on New Year's Day.. And then of course, there's the other two great Irishmen, Larry and Bono, who take the time to give back to their fans, and really appreciate them, as the others do as well. What can I say, these guys really do rock..
