Remarks:
U2's first leg of the Innocence + Experience Tour comes to an end in the 8th and final show in New York's Madison Square Garden. U2 shatters a record by playing 8 consecutive shows in one venue and goes out in grand style, with Bruce Springsteen joining U2 on stage for 2 songs ("I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For" and "Stand By Me"). The rumours of Springsteen performing with the band came true, and the audience shouted "Bruuuuuuce!" in welcoming the legendary rock star to the stage. "Party Girl" was performed for the first time since the 360 Tour, just over 6 years ago on July 7, 2009. Also, Bono invited members of the U2 fan site U2BR.com to the stage during "Desire", and though they meant to dress as the U2 band members in the Discothèque music video, Bono amusingly stated that they reminded him of the Village People. The concert concludes with "40", dedicated to U2's tour manager Dennis Sheehan who passed away just a few months prior. Former U.S. President Bill Clinton and his wife Hillary Clinton are spotted in the first row of the second level. The second leg of the Innocence + Experience Tour begins in Turin, Italy on September 4, 2015.
